The future is circular! Starling Jewelry is one of the only companies to have SCS Certification for post-consumer recycled materials and stones! Why is this so important? Because greenwashing is rampant and you shouldn’t have to just take a jewelry company’s word that they use “sustainable” “recycled” “reclaimed” materials. They should be able to provide the receipts. The SCS certification is 3rd party verification of our claims and we are very proud of that. All of our 14k yellow gold and sterling silver is 100% post-consumer recycled metal. We are adding in more and more 100% post-consumer recycled diamonds as well!

Our solid 14k yellow gold is SCS Certified 100% post-consumer recycled. *Excluding chain and findings. Our 14k white and rose gold is 70% recycled. *Excluding chain and findings. Our sterling silver is 100% post-consumer recycled and awaiting certification. All stones are responsibly sourced and recycled when available. Currently we use a mix of 50% recycled diamonds on most pieces, but are moving towards using 100% post-consumer recycled diamonds. Diamond pieces marked with the SCS logo are certified to be using 100% post-consumer recycled diamonds.
Pricing
Without traditional overhead and markup costs associated with most retail operations, we are able keep our pricing as attainable as possible. By selling direct-to-consumer through our e-commerce site, we are able to only pass on a mark-up of 2 to 3x from the cost. Industry standards call this the ‘wholesale pricing’. We call it ‘honest pricing’. Because of this pricing structure you can also buy with confidence, there will never be a sale you just missed.
